James Fanning
Chief Execute Officer
Co-Founder & President
James (Jimmy) Fanning, our CEO is an entrepreneur, futurist, and ideation realist.
Jimmy started his business life young, and started working for himself at the age of 20. In 1986, with the breakup of the AT&T monopoly, he founded a private telecommunications company specializing in public telephones. By 1990, it was the third largest company of its type in Florida and 6th in the US. Highly successful in obtaining contracts which included major airports, the US Navy, and the two largest mall developers in the US as well as over 4000 independently owned locations afforded Jimmy the opportunity to sell the company.
He then went onto develop real estate and invest in several technology companies before getting involved in the foodservice industry where he built owned and operated 7 restaurants.
In 2004, he founded Global Energy Trading Company, GETCO. GETCO acquired lands in South America, primarily Colombia and Peru for the purpose of cultivating feedstock for bio-diesel production.
In 2013, Jimmy fulfilled his lifelong dream of life on a sailboat living and traveling for over 8 years.
The EV market has presented an opportunity exciting enough to bring him back on land and into the business world.
